The Act

The Freedom of Information (Scotland) Act 2002 gives people the right to access information held by the University of Strathclyde Incubator.

The Act gives people the right to ask for information
It requires the university to produce a Publication Scheme
It encourages good records management practice.
The Environmental Information Regulations (2004) relate to the release of environmental information.

The Data Protection Act gives people rights to access information held about themselves.
